We would like to welcome you to the new blog for the Outreach Group from the University of Washington's Department of Atmospheric Sciences. We are a student run group that has maintained a volunteer-based Outreach Program since 1989. Graduate students share their knowledge with K-12 students by judging science fairs, hosting groups wanting to learn more about the field and visiting schools for hands-on demonstrations and lectures. We will use this blog to share events we've attended as well as share news about the group.
