The University of Washington's Department of Atmospheric Science has maintained a free volunteer-based Outreach Program since 1989. Graduate students share their knowledge with K-12 students by judging science fairs, hosting groups wanting to learn more about the field, visiting schools for hands-on demonstrations and lectures, and other outreach activities. This blog is where you can find recaps of previous events and other interesting news from the group.
